Frequently asked questions

Answers about Vault — calculator disguise, secondary profile, encryption, iCloud sync, pricing and privacy.

Once enabled, Vault looks and behaves like a fully functional calculator. You type your secret code followed by the equals key, and the vault opens. To anyone looking, it's just a calculator.

Yes. Vault encrypts your photos, notes and browsing data on your device before anything leaves it. Sync happens via Apple CloudKit using keys that stay on your devices. We never see your content.

The secondary profile is a completely independent space inside Vault, with its own access code and its own content. It's designed as a decoy: if someone forces you to open Vault, you show the second profile and nothing of importance is revealed.

Vault silently captures a front-camera photo and saves a timestamped access log. You can review intrusion attempts at any time from the settings.

Yes. Your vault works fully offline on a single device. iCloud sync is optional, Premium, and entirely end-to-end encrypted.

Yes — Gallery, Notes, Web browser, Face ID and the Trash are free forever. Premium unlocks the secondary profile, calculator mode, alternate app icons, emergency shortcuts, intrusion alerts, trash recovery and full iCloud sync.

Premium starts at $3.99/month or $39.99/year (US App Store pricing). Prices may vary by country and are always managed by Apple. New users get a 1-week free trial.

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and tap Cancel. Your Premium features remain active until the end of the billing period.

Not yet. Vault is built natively for iOS and tightly integrated with Apple's security stack. Android is on the roadmap but has no release date.

Vault requires iOS 17.4 or later on iPhone and iPad. The app is also available on Apple Silicon Macs through the macOS App Store.
